I think there aren’t many web-sites about Theory and History of Art that could be so good to be complete or organized. But on the field I visit some art portals regularly, which always are available for know what is happening in the cultural stage.
“Dibam” is the Governmental Direction of Libraries, Archives and Museums, where are all the information and resources of the official cultural activities. Have many links to official webs and portals, you can see how is the cultural system in the country and it is updated always. It is a good place for take a look the activities, organization and strategies that the government has and plans.
Other web-site is “Estoy.cl” where you have all the cultural agenda and actuality of the month. You can find the artistic activities in dance, theatre, music, expositions, events, etc. It is very clear and precise and entertaining. This web-site have a free magazine with the same information which is distributed every first of the months.
Other kinds of web-sites I like to visit are “Dialnet”, “Escaner Cultural”, “DDOOSS” or “Crítica.cl”, which have many texts about art, esthetics, interesting and fun things.
All this webs can be dangerous. Maybe you can lose inside there and take all your time with all the distraction if you don’t have attention.
